The Days I Didn’t Disappear
Note: This page is still under construction. Thanks for your patience!
There are moments in life when everything feels heavier — when the days blur into routine, and the weight of simply existing becomes too much.
This project was born in one of those moments.
I found myself at a quiet turning point, realizing I had truly stepped into adulthood.
It wasn’t just about age, but about carrying responsibility, making choices with lasting consequences,
and feeling the emotional cost of missed opportunities.
That creeping feeling — FOMO, the quiet panic of time slipping away slowly grew into anxiety and depression.
The first months of the year are always a challenge for me — they usually bring with them a familiar darkness.
So, instead of letting it pull me under, I reached for something that always brought me a sense of grounding — my camera.
This wasn’t about art or perfection it was survival. A small, daily act of noticing.
The approach was simple one camera, one lens reminding me to stay connected also keeping the process honest and unpolished.
This ritual, humble as it was, gave me a reason to look up, to pause, to pay attention.
It offered me a gentle escape from the mechanical rhythm of everyday tasks, a small act of rebellion against beeing on autopilot.
